About Jaylen
I’ve always loved math, and I love that rewarding feeling you get when you’ve mastered something new. I also see the frustrating side of it and how difficult it can be, but that’s what I hope to conquer as we start a new journey of mathematical understanding. I love teaching, I have a little sister who always comes to me with her mathematical questions and she ends up top of her class in the subject each year. I have other experience tutoring and I enjoy seeing the growth of different students. I currently have a two years worth of experience in mathematics at UC Berkeley and it’s only improved my fundamentals and logical reasoning.

I aim to be as patient as possible with any and all students and all questions are expected and welcome. I’m still a student myself and I can understand how difficult math can be sometimes and how scary it can be to get help as you progress. I’ve taken three semesters of UC Berkeley Math which have strengthened my overall understanding of the subject.

I can't recommend Jaylen enough as a calculus tutor! I was struggling quite a bit with my calculus course at my local community college, and honestly, I wasn’t sure I was going to pass the class.
