About Nicole
Hi! I’m Nicole, and I absolutely LOVE teaching Biology! One of my favorite moments is seeing a student go from saying, “I don’t get it,” to “Wait…that actually makes sense!” Then comes the smile, the confidence, and that moment when they realize, “I can do this.”
I taught high school and AP Biology for several years, where my students achieved a 100% pass rate on the Florida Biology EOC and a 90% pass rate on the AP Biology exam. Along the way, I’ve created curriculum, designed engaging lessons, and even developed Biology boot camps to help students feel confident and prepared for their exams.
My tutoring style is energetic, encouraging, and personalized to every student. I believe Biology should make sense, not feel like endless memorization. I help students understand the big ideas first so they don’t get lost in the details, then use funny analogies, memorable stories, and real-world connections to make concepts stick. My goal is for students to leave each lesson thinking, “That was actually fun!”

As a highly experienced and successful Biology teacher, I focus on helping students grasp the big picture first, ensuring they don’t get lost in unnecessary details.
