About Dan
My background in English studies has give me the opportunity to work as an editor with NI's leading music publication, Chordblossom, present live interviews with BBC NI, and work as a content manager with the region's only 3-day festival of music and arts, Sunflowerfest.
My ongoing Bachelor of Arts (BA), English General Hons. is made up of module specialisations in contemporary and Irish classical literature, as well as psycholinguistics with phonetics training through a digitisation partnership with NI's renowned Ulster Folk & Transport museum.

Local Editor and Branding Strategist in educated in English to degree level at Queen's University Belfast.
Previously a tutor/peer mentor at Tor Bank School working with young students with complex learning preferences. My lessons are structured around building a strong rapport with my students and giving them insight into my own methods of reading and critically evaluating texts, the essential skills that I found to be invaluable in my own academic career.
I also provide the option of lessons being recorded and sent via email as MP3 or WAV. files so that my students' can listen back to aid revision practice at home.
