About Parastoo
Hey everyone!
My name is Parastoo, and I grew up in Tehran, Iran.
I came to Canada when I was 17 and graduated high school in the fall of 2021. I started university in the fall of 2022. Between graduating from high school and attending university, I studied and went to different workshops to get my TTC certificate. I am an amicable person, and I enjoy communicating with other people. Right now, I am in the middle of my second term at university and studying health sciences.

Depending on the learning preferences of the student, my approach changes. However, my approach to teaching is to foster independent thought in my pupils while using as many examples from the actual world as possible. I begin with subjects that the pupils are familiar with and progressively go to more challenging material as their confidence grows. I keep using queries and illustrations to make sure they are comprehended. I don't lecture or assign kids to memorize anything. I also need to finish the homework for the pupils!
