About Terrie

What Sets Me Apart: I have seven years of experience as a professional speaker and coach. I specialize in helping professionals and middle school students; however, I have worked with people of all ages and different experience levels. I teach at schools and offer workshops/keynotes at corporations. I am a TEDx speaker, TEDx speaker coach, and a TED Youth event co-organizer. I have helped 100s of clients become more confident, effective communicators. My sessions are more than just lessons—they’re experiences. I bring creativity, humor, and a fresh approach that makes learning feel less like work and more like an adventure. I don’t just teach you how to speak—I help you discover your unique voice and use it to connect with people authentically. Think of me as your cheerleader, coach, and partner in crime on this journey. Fun facts - I'm a dog mom to a chihuahua mix rescue named Chico and have traveled to 43 countries so far!

About the lesson

Let’s face it—public speaking can feel terrifying, but it doesn’t have to.

My approach is about creating a fun, safe, and empowering space where you can cultivate your unique voice and own it.

Through interactive activities, you will develop skills for everything from calming your nerves to powerful techniques for engaging audiences - whether that is 2 or 2000.

You will receive honest, constructive feedback so you know exactly how to grow—and where you’re already amazing.

Typical Lesson Plan:

No two lessons are ever the same because I tailor everything to you and your objectives. That said, here is an example of what you can expect:

Warm Up: Start with a game or activity to set the tone for a fun and relaxed session.

Build Skill: Dive into developing key skills like mastering pauses, storytelling, or handling questions.

Practice: Practice what you learn in real-time through speeches, impromptu challenges, or role-playing.

Action Plan: End with actionable takeaways and a plan to meet your goals.
