About Prerna

Myself Prerna Sharma I am a student at Amity University Gurugram, pursuing Bachelor of Arts. I am from Haldwani, Uttarakhand. I have a keen interest in research and archaeology. My hobby is dancing and reading books. I am a state-level table tennis player. Being a history student, I have a strong interest in exploring India’s ancient and medieval historical events, culture, and ideas. I wanted to share my knowledge because I love to. I am passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge about history with students. My main goal is to become a professor. I aim to make history engaging and interesting because people think that history is boring and it is all about dates. But history is a subject full of battles, wars, kings, queens, administration, and many more. Also, I have good communication and behavioral science workshops at my university which help to build my leadership qualities and communication skills. Also, I have an additional subject, English, in which I have learned about different poets of different eras.

About the lesson

I will teach in the language comfortable for the students. My sessions will be friendly. Your doubts will be cleared. No hesitation in the classes. To give students more clarity, friendly sessions will be held where everyone will have a chance to speak. Also, every class will be of a particular time limit so that students do not get bored. I will be using real-life examples. I will help students to clear doubts in a practical way rather than keeping it boring and only make them study. I will use quizzes and visual materials to keep the students engaged. Also, doubt-clearing sessions will be held every week to make sure students have no doubts. Question-answer round will be there to keep a check on students' presence.
