About Meta
I am Meta Hattie Kalonji, a university of Pretoria Graduate. I have a bachelors degree in Education with English and social sciences as specializations. In addition, I have completed a TEFL ( Teaching English as a foreign language)120 hour course and have obtained a teacher certification that allows me to teach English as a foreign language. My working experience includes teaching English at four schools while completing my undergraduate degree in addition to my experience. I have also worked at the university as student mentor where I assisted first year students with English and academic essays. I am hardworking, intelligent and a high energy teacher

I believe that a student centered approach to teaching and learning is more suitable as the learning contents or activities are centered more on the learning needs of each students. I am proficient in both English and French, I'm able to teach English as it was one of my majors in college. In addition, a typical lesson with me includes fun and interactive activities that engages with every student; my lessons are aimed at enhancing grammar and pronunciation of English words for all learning levels.
