About Lexie
I am a PhD student studying the neuromuscular junction and motor neurone disease. I graduated with a first class honours degree in Biomedical Science, and also achieved an award for being top performer in my cohort. I have also received my Masters of Research degree in Medical and Molecular Biosciences. I also teach dance classes on the side to help my teaching styles and do something else I love! I have a strong passion for science and have always enjoyed wanting to know more. I want to be able to help people, even if in a small way, to feel more confident in their lessons and knowledge of biology. My previous teaching experience has given me the skills and practise of how to design bespoke lessons for people, with their ideal learning styles in mind, to get them the best results. We will work together to get you to your target goal - whether that is feeling more confident, understanding topics better, or achieving a certain grade.

Lessons will be tailored to you and your educational needs. I will focus on areas that you would like improving, using teaching styles and techniques that work best for you. The sessions will be fun and relaxed, or if you prefer to have a more regimented approach, I can offer that too. If you don't know what learning style works for you, we will work together to find the best one for you! I will work with you to help push you and get you further along in your biology understanding. I am aware of the different marking criteria for different levels of exams (GCSE, A-Levels etc) used in England. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss how I may be able to support you!
