About Chloe
I am an A* A-level and an A* equivalent GCSE student. I am currently attending a selective grammar state school ranking 5th nationally. To teach means to inspire, to help others reach full potential and feel confident in what you are weaker in. For me, that is one of the most rewarding aspects of this job. I came from a state-run school where I had to work on my own to achieve the grades I did, I would like to teach my approach through helping others who feel less advantaged, and I believe that I can help students jump grades and excel. As I was originally a non-grammar school student, I had been set back from my peers. However, I soon realised that once I learnt how to master the specification and appeal to examiners, I had reached my full potential. I would like to share my top tips with other students who feel regular teaching isn't hitting the marking points, a privilege I wish I had when I was studying for my GCSEs.

Tailored lessons for GCSE English language and literature students coming from a tutor with experience in teaching. Additionally, holding GCSE grades A* equivalent and predicted A* in all A-level subjects. Lessons will be typically minimum 45 minutes but are completely flexible to suit the students' timetable. Willing to put in extra time to push students to their maximum potential. Lessons will consist of walkthrough questions, where I will analyse their approaches. I aim to give feedback on how to structure paragraphs and analyse critically in ways that make them stand out to an examiner. I will personally mark and give feedback to practise paragraphs and highlight their strengths and weaknesses. We will practise exam technique as well as mastering writing in timed conditions.
