About Jessica
I have been teaching since 2009 and am certified as a K-8 instructor in Maine. I also own and run a micro-school that serves students in grades K-8. I have taught all grade levels in public school as well as worked at the Challenger Learning Center, teaching space science.

I have been teaching since 2009 and use a wide variety of hands-on tools to help kids learn to read.
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I have the patience and ability to help learners who struggle with reading to find the method that works for them. I myself was a struggling reader as a child and could have used someone who would have tired multiple strategies to help me learn, so that is what I bring to my students.
