About Lauren
Away from math, I really enjoy cooking and eating out. I believe I was a chef in a past life with how much I love creating and experimenting with new dishes and flavors. I also enjoy working out and being active with running and cycling. I love going to the beach and laying out in the sun reading a good book.
I have a bachelor of Science with a major of mathematics and a bachelor of Education with a major of secondary education.
I have taught students with a range of abilities starting from year 7 to year 12. I have experience teaching standard 1, standard 2 and advanced prelim and HSC courses in Sydney, Australia.

Hello! My name is Lauren. I am from Sydney, Australia but just recently moved to Faro, Portugal.
I have been teaching mathematics for the last 5 years in Australia and have been privately tutoring for the last 12 years.
I have experience with the Australian Curriculum (7 -10 and HSC) but understand the similarities the UK curriculum has with Australia. Math is universal of course!
My true passion lies in helping my students understand and love math just as much as I love math. I seek those 'ahh' moments with my students, telling me they finally understand the concept.
