About Martin

As an actor I have been employed by many of the most prestigious theatres in Scotland including the National Theatre of Scotland, Citizens Theatre, Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, Dundee Rep and Perth Theatre. On screen, I have recently appeared in 'Two Doors Down' and 'Shetland' (BBC), 'Murder Island' (Channel 4) and many, many more. I also work as a professional theatre director (recent credits include 'Oh When The Saints', 'Educating Rita', both Perth Theatre, and 'The Celtic Story', SECC Armadillo). I also work part-time on the MFA Directing and Acting programmes as a lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University. In 2016 my debut play 'Squash' won best new play at the Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland.

About the lesson

Each session is tailored to individual student's needs. Whether this be.. - LAMDA exams - A short-course on acting method. - How do you 'prep and smash that audition?' - Learn and improve your acting for camera technique. I can use my experience as an actor, director and tutor to bring out the best in you for any level of student; it doesn't matter if you are a beginner or as experienced as they come.
