About Rupa

As someone who has successfully balanced academic excellence and professional responsibility, I understand what it takes to achieve meaningful results. My name is Rupa Ali, and I bring a calm, supportive, and structured approach to every tutoring session. With a 95 ATAR, a Bachelor of Medical Science (GPA 5.5/7), and current studies in Bachelor of Podiatry Medicine, I combine deep subject knowledge with real-world communication and mentoring experience from my role as a Senior Appeals Officer at Centrelink. For over three years, I’ve helped students from Kindergarten to Year 12 grow in confidence, improve their results, and feel proud of their progress—especially in English, Math, and Science. Many of my students have achieved 90%+ scores in NAPLAN, ICAS, and HSC trial exams, and I have consistently received positive feedback from families for going above and beyond—often spending additional unpaid time to support students outside of class. My lessons are thoughtfully prepared and tailored to each student's learning style. I offer clear explanations, guided practice, constructive feedback, and a safe space to ask questions and make mistakes without fear. Whether your child is catching up or aiming for top marks, I bring the patience, dedication, and knowledge to help them succeed. You can feel confident knowing that your child is supported by a tutor who is experienced, academically accomplished, and genuinely passionate about helping them grow.

About the lesson

I take a student-centred and supportive approach tailored to each learner’s needs, goals, and style. I use a mix of explanation, visual aids, practice questions, and real-world examples to make lessons engaging, clear, and effective.

Each lesson is usually 120 minutes long and includes:
• Concept explanation
• Guided practice
• Independent tasks
• Constructive feedback & review

I tutor students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in English, Maths, and Science, with a special focus on writing skills, exam preparation, and those who needs support catching up and building confidence.

My students have excelled in NAPLAN, ICAS, and HSC trial exams, with many achieving 90% and above. I also provide constructive feedback and go above and beyond to support student learning, often offering additional help outside of paid sessions.
