Hi there! I'm Anish Sharma. My goal? To help you unlock the math skills you didn't even know you had and achieve scores that'll make you proud. I believe that an "aha!" moment in math is just a few steps away for every student, and I'm here to guide you to it. With an ATAR of 99.80 and top scores in MX1 and MX2, I've walked the academic path you're on, and I know all the shortcuts and pitfalls. Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of guiding 24 students through this landscape. Witnessing their growth, from tentative steps to leaps in understanding, has solidified my belief in the transformative power of quality education.

My approach is anchored in the joy of those 'lightbulb' moments when a challenging concept finally makes sense. Each math lesson I offer is carefully structured to not only engage but to empower you with a deep understanding of mathematical principles. We'll begin with the heart of math – the foundational concepts – moving gradually towards more complex problems at a pace suited to your grasp and comfort level. I find that students just need to learn the best practices of maths and suddenly realise their unlocked mathematic potential in just a few lessons.

A Journey Through the Textbook

Utilising a blend of textbook examples and real-world applications, our lessons will be anything but monotonous. We’ll dissect textbook problems, but I’ll guide you to see beyond the pages, understanding not just the ‘how’ but the ‘why’. This approach ensures that with each lesson, you’re not just prepared for exams, but for any mathematical challenge the exams throw your way.

Interactive Learning with Modern Tools

I integrate the latest technology into our lessons using an iPad, making the learning experience interactive and engaging. Visual learners will appreciate the clarity of a digital whiteboard, where complex problems are broken down with annotations and drawings, making every step clear and every lesson memorable. If the digital whiteboard does not suit you, I have a physical whiteboard which we can use instead for lessons.

As we progress, I’ll continuously assess your understanding, ensuring no question goes unanswered. This regular, informal testing isn’t just about correcting mistakes – it’s about reinforcing knowledge and celebrating your incremental victories on the path to mastery.
