About Myriah
I am a 26-year-old who recently immigrated to New Zealand from the States. I am passionate about space exploration and science and would love to tutor the English language for those that have also immigrated here or non-English speaking students looking for help on homework.

I prioritize building strong foundational knowledge first, then gradually introduce more advanced topics as the student’s confidence grows. I'm able to help with university level English assignments, creating resumes and cover letters, and completing official documents in the English language. I often use visual aids, diagrams, and multimedia resources to reinforce concepts, especially in subjects like literacy. As an astrophysics student, I have a strong background in scientific principles, which I apply to my tutoring. I have experience working with students of various ages and backgrounds. My experience tutoring English comes from a passion for language and literacy, and I’ve worked with students ranging from beginners to advanced learners. Typical length of lessons are 60 minutes.
