About Rachel

I am new to tutoring, but have spent fifteen years diligently working in the service industry. I’ve done everything from serve to manage. These skill sets have helped me to guide others in peer reviews and workshops by reassuring others what they are excelling at, while directly stating what may need improvement. I have worked and talked with people from all walks of life and always aim to maintain a respectful rapport. I am patient, kind, honest, direct, and genuinely love helping people, especially my fellow creatives.

About the lesson

Peer review is always one of my favorite parts of class. I love to give honest critical feedback about structure, creative flow, dialogue, and descriptive detail. My job is always to encourage you to dig deep within your soul and express your inner truth through your own eyes. Whether it’s poetry, essays, or short stories I aim to gently guide others to their fullest potential!

I love to read both classic and modern literature, American and British history, poetry, theology, queer, multicultural and women’s studies, philosophy, and environmental science. I am happy to help with any essay writing on these subjects. Having many younger cousins I am more than happy to teach reading skills to younger generations as well.
