About Mohamed
My name is Mohamed and I graduated from Birla Institute of Technology - Pilani which is one of the best universities in the world with a master's degree in structural engineering and I ranked second in a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
I have been teaching full time for over 8 years. Many of my students have significantly improved their skills and test scores. I love all aspects of math and make it fun to learn. I am very patient and will go step by step with you to make sure you understand everything. My main area of tutoring is math, which includes calculus, algebra, trigonometry, and all other subjects related to the Canadian curriculum.

My teaching methodology focuses on the easiest way to help gauge the subject. I work on structured learning and don't mind going over concepts multiple times until the student fully understands the concept and principles. I believe in active learning and discussions with the student rather than "I teach you and you listen".
As each student is different, I adapt to their learning capacity by reviewing their current problems and offering advice or suggesting additional problems to help them deepen their understanding.
Solving different types of problems, especially real-life ones, builds student understanding and confidence in the subject.
My teaching methods include breaking down each question and looking for patterns between questions, so that once you can solve a handful of them, you can practically solve all the questions you are asked on this topic. I'm able to explain concepts in different ways, so that if one method doesn't work for a student, I always have another way to make sure the concept is understood (visual representation, similarities to problems daily life, etc.)
