About Rahul
I am Rahul Nandi, a Physics Olympiad medalist. I have represented my country on the international stage: earning Honorable Mention at the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO), Honorable Mention at the European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO), the first-ever EuPhO award in Bangladeshi history, and Bronze Medal at TalTech Physics cup. I am also the Bangladesh National Physics Olympiad Champion, and nationally 6th in the Bangladesh Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics.
Beyond competing, I have spent years on the other side - designing 100+ physics problems, grading 350+ exam scripts, and coaching 40+ olympiad participants. I have delivered workshops to 500+ students across national and regional programs. I know exactly how students think, where they struggle, and what it takes to break through those barriers.
Physics is not just what I study, it is how I think. I bring that passion, precision, and real competitive experience into every session I teach.

My lessons are built on one philosophy: first-principles thinking.
I teach everything starting from the most basic, elementary truths and build upward from there. I break problems down into its most foundational, elementary components and build the solution up from scratch.
My lessons are problem-solving based. I guide students through solving problems themselves, applying exactly what they've just learned. My strategy is to teach my student to deconstruct any problem into its most fundamental pieces. Once you understand the core of a problem, the rest is about applying the right techniques.
A typical session starts with a short diagnostic where I ask you to walk through a problem in your own words. This reveals whether the gap is conceptual or technical. If it's conceptual, I teach the underlying ideas and build the intuition behind them, making the concept genuinely clear before we move on. We then work through problems of increasing difficulty, focusing not just on answers but on the reasoning behind every step, the kind of structured thinking that earns marks in exams and competitions alike.
I have been teaching students for olympiads for 2 years. So, I have an idea about where students struggle the most. Having designed 100+ physics problems and graded 350+ scripts using detailed rubrics, I know precisely where students lose marks and why.
After every topic, I design a problem set tailored specifically to what you are preparing for, whether that is a board exam, AP Physics, or a regional/national/international Olympiad. I then review your work personally, identify exactly where your reasoning went wrong, and walk through each mistake with you in the next session. I also point you toward the right textbooks, problem banks, and resources so your learning continues well beyond our sessions.
For students approaching exams or competitions, I offer full mock tests under timed conditions, followed by a detailed review session, so you walk in knowing exactly what to expect and where your strongest and weakest areas lie.
My lessons are suitable for high school and pre-university students of all boards, students preparing for national and international Physics Olympiads (IPhO, APhO, EuPhO), and university students looking to strengthen their physics foundation.
