About Weldon
"Pronunciation, idioms and expressions, interview preparation, reading comprehension, accent and intonation are my core focus areas. I have taught 463 students during my 13 years of work.
My Artist Diploma from Berklee College of Music provides a unique lens for learning phonetics and rhythm. I love helping people find their voice in a new language. "A diagnostic level test before we build the plan is actually a terrible way to start if you hate being analyzed. I prefer to jump right into the rhythm of speech. We will look at how your mouth shapes the sounds of Spanish. You might find that accent and intonation require more physical work than you expected.
I balance these technical sessions with real world idioms. You get a chance to practice reading comprehension in a way that feels like a conversation. Learning should feel like an exchange of ideas rather than a lecture. I enjoy seeing that lightbulb moment when the grammar rules finally stop getting in the way of your expression."
