About Emily
I am a full time PhD student studying art history and aesthetic philosophy in Toronto, Canada. I am also a university lecturer at an art and design university, where making the complex digestable and art exciting to an audience from a variety of backgrounds, knowledge levels, and fields, is what I am most passionate about.

I am a full time PhD student and part-time university lecturer who loves sharing my passion with others. Art history classes with me will involve being exposed to tons of new artists and artworks, alongside the histories that they are connected to. I like to take a customizer approach, mapping my lesson plans onto what your interests are, and what you want to learn. Are you more interested in modern art, contemporary art, or historical art? We can also delve into special topics, like the history of the museum, the history of aesthetic philosophy, or the hidden history of art theft, fakes and counterfeit, and other scandals! Lessons will also involve developing critical skills for thinking and writing about art, art interpretation, and exposure for the skills required to speak plainly yet intelligently about any style of art, historically and globally, that our beautiful world has to offer.
