Having been born and raised in The United States, I know what it feels like to start from nothing on a new language. In my case, I didn't really have the time to learn one. At the age of 18, I was called to serve a religious mission in Argentina, Cordoba.

When people ask me... How did you learn the language? I normally laugh while explaining. With only 6 weeks of Language study, I was thrown into a latin world of daily conversations about god, hardships, financial wellbeing, family, and culture with little to no knowledge on how to do it. I compare the experience to getting thrown into a pool without knowing how to swim. The person who threw you in taught you the basics, but its definitely not enough to be a good swimmer. Although it sounds crazy.. This method is actually quite effective. In order to gain fluency its imperative that you immerse yourself into the culture/language. Even when not all of it makes perfect sense. We will use specific tactics to get you speaking before you drown.

I call these tactics "Ear Training" and "SYL" (Speak your language). By only hearing Spanish throughout our lessons your ear will begin to train itself to the tone and vowels of Spanish. Not only allowing you to understand, but to speak clearer. "SYL" forces you to learn new words, and calculate your responses to questions and answers during our lessons. Allowing you to truly immerse yourself like I did in Argentina 5 years ago.

After two years of service in Argentina, I have not only learned the native tongue, but I have gained an experience unlike any other. After all, my job was to talk to complete strangers 24 hours a day. I have gained the trust and friendship of many, and my understanding of the language was imperative for me to achieve that.

I can promise an experience unique to what helped me. Although we wont be flying to Argentina during our lessons, I will simulate with you what its like to be fully immersed. It will be difficult, but I can promise you fluency in just a mere 3 months. Cross my heart.
