About Christian
Hi, my name is Christian Farris and I am a bachelor of science holder in Biology. I have always had a passion for learning and sharing my knowledge with others, and that's why I decided to become a tutor.
I have 6 years of experience in biology, and I have a strong understanding of the material and am able to break it down into manageable chunks that are easy for my students to understand.
My goal is to help students improve their grades, increase their confidence, and achieve their academic goals. I am patient, understanding, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my students succeed.
I take my tutoring very seriously and always strive to be professional, punctual, and organized. I am dedicated to helping my students succeed and will work with them to develop a personalized plan that meets their unique needs and goals.

As a tutor, my main goal is to help my students understand and master the material they are struggling with. I believe that the best way to do this is through a combination of hands-on practice and personalized instruction.
My teaching method and techniques include:
Providing clear explanations and demonstrations of concepts
Asking questions to guide students in their own discovery of the material. Encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate in the learning process. Using real-world examples and case studies to make the material more relatable and engaging.
A typical lesson plan would involve:
Reviewing the material covered in the student's class or textbook. Identifying the specific areas where the student is struggling. Providing additional explanations and examples to help the student understand the material. Assigning practice problems or exercises to reinforce the concepts learned
Reviewing the completed assignments and providing feedback to the student.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my dedication to helping each student succeed. I take the time to get to know my students and their learning styles, and tailor my approach to their individual needs. I am patient, understanding, and always willing to go the extra mile to help my students succeed.
