About Jakub

I am currently a psychology student, I also work professionally in the medical sector. I teach the language out of a desire to diversify my life, at the same time showing people who trust me that there is no place for embarrassment when speaking. I myself lived in an English-speaking country for a certain period of my life, and there I understood how correct but incorrect in terms of school understanding works (because the main aspect is not perfect correctness but perfect communication) learning and talking in English. In my life I have already had an episode of teaching people like this (it was my first job), but I stopped because of starting my professional career and expanding my competences in this direction. To sum up, you will not be another number for me in the table that I have to fill in to earn the right amount of money, because I work full time, my style of conducting classes is based on the fact that the atmosphere during our meeting reigns like among friends who talk to each other during the day .

About the lesson

I, too, was ashamed to use this language for a long time, despite the knowledge of the theory, speaking I could not put together a meaningful sentence in a way that would be pleasant to the ear and communicative. What I offer are conversations in English, if you do not need a dry theory (although I will be happy to help with it), you've come to the right place. I am happy to talk to you about any topic I will explain when I broke the barrier of shame.

What is it supposed to look like? Learning without learning?
In theory, yes, in practice, if you care about a communicative and simple language, it is a form of learning in which you talk about your everyday life, interests, plans, etc. brings much better results. It gives you the intuitiveness which is so important in speech, when you speak Polish you do not wonder how to say a sentence, you just do it. And this is exactly the effect that allows you to regularly talk to someone about anything and everything. It is not about perfect grammatical correctness, because when you find your style, you will also be understood and you will be allowed to open up and speak the language endlessly. With this method, you will not even notice the moment when, when you start speaking in a given language, you suddenly start to think in it as well, and not what time should be used, but just what the next story to treat our interlocutor with.

Is it simple?
At the beginning, no, we are strangers to each other, so at the beginning it may not be easy for you to open up and suddenly start telling how your day was, and in a foreign language, however over time you will notice that when you connect or meet in this form of activity, it will be natural that you speak English. Ultimately, during our conversations, I would like to completely eliminate the Polish language (I use it only to translate very incomprehensible words, although I try to explain the meaning of a given word in English first, even in the most "nasty" language, but in English, so that it would be natural that this is what we use this language)

What do I offer?
-Meetings anywhere (we can meet online or stationary at an agreed place. You prefer to chat in a cafe? No problem!)
-Meetings during hours in the evening, we all work, study or lead a family life during the day. Therefore, it is best to arrange such meetings in the evening hours so that we can talk about a given day without stress that we have to make it to the next company meeting in an hour.
- No fixed time frame, i.e. you will want to spend less time studying on a given day? No problem. Do you want to talk longer? No problem, we will fix it the day before, in which case the price will be correspondingly lower / higher.
-The first meeting will be free (online on the MS teams platform), where we will determine how such meetings should look like, and explain my concept of such language learning. If you want to / and we will also talk for a moment (maybe it will be love at first sight to such a style of learning)
- The classes are intended for adults who know the basics of the language but are ashamed to use it, than for early school / school children. I do not prepare for tests, 8th grade tests, matura exam because this is not what this type of classes is about.
- The standard length of our meeting is 60 minutes
I am a young person, currently studying psychology, so listening to your day, hobbies, history and helping you learn the language will not be a problem for me. You can talk about what you want, I do not dictate the terms of the format our meetings will adopt, everything will be washed.
