About Audra
Audra Rantawan is a passionate musician and dedicated piano instructor with several years of experience.
She began her musical journey at the young age of 3 and earned her ARCT Diploma by the age of 16. Audra studied at the Vancouver Academy of Music where she received university-level music training and is currently pursuing her second Music Diploma at Douglas College as a recipient of a full performance-based scholarship. She studied under the instruction of distinguished pianists Edward Parker, Rebecca Kelly, and Lorraine Ambrose, amongst others. Beyond her solo piano performances, Audra enjoys performing with orchestras, chamber music groups, and choir accompaniment.
Audra welcomes students of all ages and skill levels as she believes that music is an essential skill for all, and it is never too late, or too early, to begin your musical journey. She is committed to providing students with well-rounded musical training that prepares both strong technique and musical expression. She believes that each student is unique and that learning music is an excellent way to enhance students’ potential.

In lessons, students will be approached with a teaching method tailored to their age and skill level. My main focus in teaching is to gain a better understanding of music theory, improve their aural skills, and enhance their musicianship. I aim to maximize each student's potential and ensure that the student is fully engaged and comfortable with their learning. My lessons are open to students of all ages and levels, whether you are a competitive musician or just learning for fun!
