Victor is a great teacher with a good sense of humor, relates very well to an American way of thinking that helped me so much in learning Arabic. I think one of the hardest things about learning a new language is learning phrases that if you just knew the literal translation word for word might be confusing, but Victor is excellent at helping you to understand the meaning of a phrase and how it would be similar to something else in English that might not be the exact literal word for word translation. I took Arabic classes from Victor for a full year and highly recommend him as a teacher. He helped me get the foundation of Arabic while also teaching about culture. He made learning fun, and I still remember many of the lessons and vocabulary I had with him.
