Hi my name is Cuthbert and from the first day I met Elie he was honest me. I was at the YMCA, where I was studying Arabic for 3 hours per day, one day a week. Elie had said that 3 hours per day would be too much, one and half would be better, 2 days per week, and so for almost 2 years he has been my teacher, a wonderful and great teacher, who has lots and lots of patience. As an absolute beginner in Modern Standard Arabic, I benefited from Elie’s tutorship for one year. Our weekly in-person sessions were interrupted by the pandemic, but he proved equally prepared and effective in our online frequentation.
