About Tam
I am Taha, an Egyptian Arabic language teacher based in Kuwait. I studied Arabic Language and Literature at Assiut University in Egypt, and I have spent the last 25 years in classrooms — first in Egypt, then here in Kuwait where I currently teach at a secondary school.
Arabic is not just my job. I grew up with this language, studied it formally for four years, and have been teaching it every single day since. I know where students struggle — the letters, the grammar rules, the Tajweed pronunciation — and I know how to get them past those obstacles without frustration.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading classical Arabic literature and poetry. That love for the language comes through in every lesson I teach.
I speak English well enough to explain Arabic concepts clearly to non-native speakers. So if you are a complete beginner — do not worry. We will figure it out together.

My name is Taha. I have been teaching Arabic for 25 years — in Egypt first, and in Kuwait ever since. Right now I work as an Arabic teacher in a Kuwaiti secondary school.
I work with complete beginners who have never seen an Arabic letter in their life. I also work with intermediate and advanced students who want to sharpen their grammar, improve their writing, or read classical Arabic texts.
I teach Modern Standard Arabic — reading, writing, and grammar. I also teach Quran recitation with proper Tajweed rules. My English is good enough that beginners do not need to worry. We can communicate clearly from day one.
I am not in a hurry. Every student has a different pace and that is completely fine. We will start where you are, build a plan that fits your goals, and move at a speed that works for you.
