About Christoffer
I'm a dedicated and approachable tutor with a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Stuttgart, where I graduated with first-class honours (>95%). I have two years of experience teaching maths and science in both a UK and Swedish secondary school, and I will begin a PhD in engineering this autumn, focusing on advanced technologies in telecommunications. In addition to teaching, I’ve worked as a software engineer, where I applied analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in real-world technical projects. This hands-on industry experience allows me to bring practical insight into my teaching—particularly in topics like programming, applied mathematics, and physics. My Tutoring Approach I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Stuttgart, graduating with first-class honours, and I will begin a PhD in engineering this autumn. I have two years of experience teaching STEM subjects in a UK secondary school and several more years of tutoring experience. I work with students at various levels—from secondary school to university. Teaching Methodology My approach is clear, structured, and student-focused. Each session includes a brief recap to reinforce learning, followed by step-by-step explanations of new material, often using visual aids and real-world examples. I focus on building confidence, deep understanding, and problem-solving skills. Sessions are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs—whether they need help catching up, preparing for exams, or going beyond the curriculum. Lesson Format Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, but I also offer 45- or 90-minute options depending on age, learning goals, and preference. I provide regular feedback and can assign follow-up work on request. Who I Teach I tutor students aged 11–18 (KS3 to A-level or equivalent), university students in maths or physics-related courses, and adult learners aiming to improve or refresh their STEM knowledge.
