About Anna

Hello, my name is Anna!
I am a second-year anthropology student at my province's top university. As such, my writing and comprehension skills must be polished and ready to go. Writing essays and critical responses to academic journals is the foundation of my discipline: understanding how to critically reflect and compare different theories or scholarly essays is something demanded in every class. I'm confident that my skills as an anthropology student can help others refine their work and set them up for success in later education.

About the lesson

Essays are common practice in the humanities; as such, I've acquired tips and tricks in how to write good, efficient essays within a range of time limits. Additionally, being able to dissect and understand complex texts is crucial. In addition to writing, proper comprehension of texts and oral scenarios is vital: if needed, lessons will include comprehension exercises to encourage critical thinking and analysis. English can be challenging: lessons will be personalized to fit individual needs and target weak areas in the student's writing or English abilities.
I know what it's like to struggle in certain subjects, including English. I strive to create an encouraging, warm environment for students to feel comfortable making mistakes and learning. The most important element in my philosophy is ensuring the student can gain confidence in their abilities and feel proud of their improvements.
My lessons and expertise are best suited for students in elementary school or high school. Building strong foundations is important early on in English education: I hope to help students create this strong foundation that will help them later in their education.
