About Emily
I am currently studying at the University of St Andrews doing a masters in arts sub honours history. I took my A - Levels in English, French and History receiving two A*s and one A getting 100% in the history A - level examination. I have previously taught young people in these subjects. I am very hard working and strive towards academic excellence as demonstrated by the fact that I currently projected to graduate with a high 2:1 / 1st.

My teaching methodology is a very individual approach, I believe that each student should be taught in the way that he or she requires to be taught with the material working for the student rather than the other way around. I place the emphasis on the student's skills and utilise those to get the best results in terms of how the student learns. I was taught in an environment were learning for learning's sake and achieving excellent exam results are equally important therefore as a tutor I would strive to both enrich the general education of the pupil whilst also ensure the highest possible results.
