Hi! My name is Anastasia, and I’m a third-year student at McGill University, currently pursuing my studies in English and Entrepreneurship. I’ve always enjoyed working with languages and sharing my knowledge with others, which is what inspired me to start tutoring. I’m a patient, friendly, and motivated person, and I enjoy creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.

I offer personalized tutoring in English and French, for students of all levels, from young children to high school students. Whether you’re starting from the basics, need help with homework and schoolwork, want to improve your grammar and writing, or simply want to become more comfortable speaking the language, I’m happy to help!
My approach to tutoring is centered around making students feel comfortable, supported, and confident while learning. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style and activities to their individual level, needs, and goals. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for an exam, improving their grades, or simply becoming more confident in French or English, I aim to make each lesson both useful and enjoyable.
I like to combine different teaching techniques depending on the student and the subject. This can include explanations and examples, interactive exercises, reading and writing activities, vocabulary practice, conversation, pronunciation work, and reviewing school assignments or homework. I also encourage students to actively participate rather than simply memorizing information. I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, because mistakes are an important part of learning.
