About Francesca
My lifelong love for literature is what made me want to be a teacher. I wanted to share the joy of reading with my students. After 6 years of teaching English as a second language, my reasons for being a teacher have morphed into wanting to share the joy and excitement of learning. I am passionate about teaching, and I want my students to be excited to learn something new every day. I teach my students English but also critical thinking, to ask questions, to realize that learning English opens a door to a very exciting future.

I want my students to be excited to learn English even if the reasons are school or work-related. Learning English will open so many doors for you. We will discuss your interests and reasons for learning English and develop a specific study plan. I frequently make use of multimedia, games, books, etc. in order to teach effectively. I take a very organic approach to teaching, which means you will not be sitting for 20 mins just filling out a worksheet. I will urge you to ask questions about English, write about your days, start discussions, do research, and I will be there to answer any and all questions. We will work hard together to achieve your language goals.
