About Lucy
I am in the process of graduating from the University of East Anglia with a degree in American Studies, which is interdisciplinary focusing on history, literature, and culture. I have spent some time working in primary schools, helping not only with English but History as well. I am passionate about teaching and ensuring every child is able get the help they need!

I approach each topic whether that be History or English, by trying to engage the student with something they enjoy about the subject (whether that be small or big). From there I adapt my teaching style to suit them, using what they enjoy to open doors for something else they could also enjoy. In addition, I would spend a significant amount of time not only engaging them with the subject but really focusing on anything they may find difficult. I am a tutor that feeds off of what the child wants to learn, and will utilize that to broaden their scope for other interests, whilst helping them overcome any difficulties.
