About Elisa
I am a college student at SIU. I am majoring in Marketing & Business Analytics. My two minors will be in Spanish and Psycholoy. I am Hispanic and have spoken Spanish my entire life. I have been taking proper Spanish classes since I was 12 to match my writing skills with my verbal skills. I am also a musician. I play flute and a bit of piano.

My teaching method is interactive/participative. I will be doing activities or giving lectures depending on how it may fit the situation, assignment, or unit. Another method of mine is the discussion method. I believe that learning is more effective when students listen to other’s ideas and opinions. I will approach the student(s) with a series of questions to understand where they struggle and what they have learned. From there, I will gather material, activities, and lectures to help the group or individual truly understand the material.
