About Nikolaus

My name is Nik, I'm thirty something years old, originally born in Johannesburg, I've been living in Spain for the past 20 years. I love the rain, thunderstorms, having a lovely meal with friends but most of all I love a good Adventure!

Here are some other things I love:
• Culture • Cooking • History • Music • Cinema • Literature

I've always relished the idea of travelling all over the world, and having adventures in far off countries! Travelling and experiencing cultures the way a native would, and enjoying the food, sights and customs of different people. Which is what made me passionate about learning languages and understanding them!

Culture and History are a window into the way people think and understand the world, and I've always found it incredibly interesting talking to people from different walks of life.

In my many travels I've visited 14 European countries, seen 3 different continents, learnt how to communicate in more than 8 different languages, all in the name of adventure!
