About Fernando
I am an Afro-Latin Percussionist with experience in different bands and styles. Graduated from the Modern School of Music and Dance. Private teacher of Afro-Latin percussion instruments, both in technique and styles. I also do talks and clinics to raise awareness about the drum through percussion ensembles. I was a producer of the Afro-Latin Percussion meetings at the Escuela Moderna from 2014 to 2017. I worked as a musician-therapist with a focus on percussion, using my own method, inspired by the Malinke ethnic group (West Africa). .

Private Class: The class consists in knowing the student and needs with respect to the drum or percussion instrument that wants to learn. Knowing your tastes is fundamental when developing styles and technique. The classes have previous warm-up and written material, for a more expeditious development the student is taught music theory, in this way the material can be read in a better way and the concepts arrive in a better way. Group Class: Through a method I conducted in honor of African drum practices (FOLI), students are instructed to be aware of the present through musical patterns and the theoretical study of styles, where the drum is the protagonist. The method stands out for reinforcing teamwork and self-esteem. It is focused on people who have no knowledge of percussion. Like the private class theory is taught to have a better development of the class.
