About Mariela
Hello! I'm a senior BFA Acting Major at the renowned Sands College of Performing Arts at Pace University in NYC. I also trained at NYU Tisch Drama, UCB Improv, and other studios. More Qualifications: - College Auditions Applying to colleges and conservatories can be daunting. Luckily, I'm here to be your biggest cheerleader! From working on monologues to preparing for interviews and ultimately choosing which program to attend, I'll make sure you feel confident and prepared. As a Pace BFA Acting audition aid of four years, I witness what impresses top college audition panels. I'll ensure you put your best foot forward and avoid audition "pitfalls" during in-person and zoom auditions. When I auditioned for college programs, I was accepted to a dozen top BFA programs, including Rutgers Mason Gross, Syracuse, Point Park, Emerson, Fordham (top BA), Marymount Manhattan, and more. ALL with SCHOLARSHIPS. - For Those Who Struggle With English I'm a certified TEFL teacher and language-learning enthusiast. If you're also interested in taking English lessons with me, just let me know! I'm happy to combine English and acting tutoring. Grammar proficiency improves acting, and acting skills strengthen reading comprehension. We can also work on your American accent, if you'd like. - I have several years of experience teaching children. I'm engaging, patient, and able to adapt for each student's individual needs, interests, and learning styles. I believe in clear and open communication with parents/guardians and am always happy to schedule a call or email to discuss your child's progress.

Whether you're still on the fence about going to college for performing arts or have a final college callback in a week and want some touch-ups or a mock audition, I can help you prepare!
