About Joshua
I am an advanced clarinetist studying at the University of North Texas, under the direct tutelage of Dr. Kimberly Cole-Luevano; I am 2 semesters away from receiving an undergraduate Music Performance degree. Throughout my recent years I have had several accomplishments in my performing career, including performing intense recitals, playing side-by-side with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and placing 3rd Prize in the International Clarinet Association’s Young Artist Competition.

I always cater to my student’s individual needs and goals, providing lots of structure in improving their fundamental playing through concrete lesson plans while also giving them the option and freedom to pursue repertoire or pieces that interest and challenge them. I also provide lesson notes from each lesson to help guide my students in their practicing throughout the week, so students always know what to do and how to practice to make themselves better. I always make sure my students are both motivated and inspired to better themselves at the instrument while having a blast in the process!
