About Amelia
Hi! I am Amelia, age 18. I have experience volunteering as a teaching assistant in a primary school, and I have worked with children with SEND conditions in a classroom environment, and in extra-curricular activities. I have extensive knowledge of Edexcel, AQA, CIE, and OCR exam boards. My subject specialisms include Biology, Maths, Geography, and History, and I achieved straight A*s at GCSE, and 3 A*s and an A at A-Level. Additionally, I can tutor for more general skills, such as reading, writing, critical thinking, and reasoning skills.

My tutoring style encourages lots of questions and clarification, as I am someone who has benefitted from my teachers going above and beyond. My typical lesson length would be 1 hour, going over areas that the pupil is struggling with, followed by practise.I am best fit to tutor GCSE and A-Level, however I can also help with earlier ages, and with secondary school admissions. I would also be a good fit for someone struggling with dyslexia.
