About Jasmine
My name is Jasmine Basi and I'm 22 year old Spanish student at the University of Edinburgh. I absolutely love teaching and working with children. Consistently throughout my time at school I was mentoring younger students in activities, Spanish lessons, sports clubs etc. I also participated in a volunteer programme in Uganda for 2 weeks, working with children and demonstrating my leadership and teaching abilities.
Spanish language and culture are great passions of mine. I recently just finished my year abroad in Barcelona working as a Social Media and Marketing Assistant in a Spanish speaking office. I enjoyed the role so much that I am still working for them remotely.
This summer I will also be teaching English in Cimarrones, Costa Rica for one month as part of a volunteering programme.
My past experiences demonstrate how much I enjoy teaching, working with children and working with the Spanish language :)
