About Eoghan
Hello! I am a 22-year-old student who is in my final year of a physics degree at the University of Galway. I am currently finished with my exams, so I am waiting for my results/to graduate. I am a quiet person who loves to read and watch any kind of sport. I am currently planning on doing a master's in the Netherlands, so I am looking to do some tutoring during the summer. I am interested in teaching as I enjoy trying to pass on some of my enthusiasm for math and physics, or at the very least, help students understand subjects like math and physics, which can be very hard if things don't 'click' immediately. Also, teaching physics and math helps me grow as a student, as it challenges my way of thinking and my ability to explain my thoughts.

My lessons are focused on developing a strong conceptual understanding of a topic/subject, whether that involves starting from scratch on a topic or building upon work in the classroom. I believe this approach is the best, as the nature of subjects like physics or maths makes them poorly suited to rote-learning-based approaches.
I am well-suited to teaching maths and physics as a 4th-year physics student (waiting to graduate) with strong grades throughout my studies. Also, I understand what it takes to succeed in the Leaving Cert, as I achieved a score of 613 points, with an H1 grade in maths, physics, and applied maths, where I taught myself applied maths. Also, as I am a fluent Irish speaker, who underwent my entire education through Irish, I can teach any students from Irish schools.
My lesson would be around one hour and are best suited to Leaving Cert physics or maths students but I would also be willing to take Junior Cert students.
