About SIBUSISO

I am a 4th year pharmacy student who is hard and smart working person. I am disciplined,
passionate, innovative, persistent, enduring and optimistic. I am not quick to be angry.

At School I was among the top ten learners who were elected to attend the National Brands Limited
English, Mathematics and Science Project, I have a certificate as proof of attendance

At School I was part of the RCL (Representative Council of Learners) where I served as deputy president.

At the National Brands Limited English, Mathematics and Science Project I was among the students who were elected to attend a Spirit of Youth program at the Gordon Institute of Business Science
(It dealt with leadership and entrepreneurship) I have a certificate as proof of involvement .

At university I was part of a Chess Club serving as a club level chess player.

I was also a part of the leadership society called Campus Outreach Johannesburg
on campus which served to provide leadership skills and to evangelize students on campus.

About the lesson

The student-centered approach to learning and partly the Teacher-centered approach
to learning are the teaching methodologies I will be using. The Student-centered approach being concerned with the teacher (tutor in my case) and student(s) playing an
equally active role in the learning process, the teacher's primary role
(a tutor in my case) being to coach and facilitate the student's learning
and overall comprehension of the material and to measure the student's
learning through assessments (like individual or group projects).

The teacher-centered approach is concerned with the teacher being the main authority figure,
the student(s) being viewed as empty vessels who passively receive knowledge
from the teachers (tutor in my case) through tutoring and direct instruction,
with an end goal of positive results from testing and assessment.
