About Julia

Hello! My name is Júlia and I will be your teacher. I am in the 4th year of medicine school at Autonomous University of Barcelona and I have 8 years of experience teaching one to one classes.

For the last 5 years, I have worked in English academies and study centers, preparing students for English Cambridge exams, plus teaching all differents levels up to B2. I also teach one to one classes on all types of subjects up to 4th year of ESO and Biology in Bachelor's. In the last 8 years I have given one to one classes on all subjects at different levels, adapting to individual needs and helping to improve the academic performance of my students.

In my classes, I try to adapt myself to your needs and I try to help you understand the subject. I like classes to be dynamic and entertaining so that you can enjoy the process of learning. If you are interested in preparing for an English exam, we will use a specific methodology to guarantee your success.

My specific goal for you is to feel confident in your abilities and to achieve your academic aims. I'm here to help you in every step of the way, so don't hesitate to share any questions or concerns.

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on adapting to each student needs, helping them to understand the different subjects. I also teach them how to create summaries and outlines that can ensure their learning. My principal goal is to be dynamic and entertaining in order to make the learning process enjoyable.

In English classes, if students are interested in preparing for Cambridge exams, we follow the specific methodology of each exam. I try to ensure that in each session there is a balance between different skills, dedicating time to conversation, listening, grammar and reading. That's the way how students are able to develop a complete understanding of the language and be ready for their exams.

Focusing on conversation and listening is essential to improving your fluency and confidence when speaking in English. Moreover, grammar and reading can help to reinforce your written and comprehension skills. My purpose final is based on students feeling motivated and making constant progress toward their academic goals.
