About Peter
I’m a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student at University College Dublin with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. I achieved H1 grades in Maths in the Leaving Cert and have experience tutoring Leaving Cert students. Having gone through the Leaving Cert myself not long ago, I understand the challenges students face and how to navigate them effectively. I bring both subject knowledge and recent exam insight to every lesson, with a professional mindset and a genuine interest in seeing students succeed.

I offer clear, structured lessons tailored to each student’s goals—whether that means focusing on specific topics or following their school syllabus week by week. Students can choose the approach that suits them best.
I use an exam-focused teaching style, breaking concepts into manageable steps and targeted practice questions, including past paper material. Lessons are typically one hour long and include full notes, exam-style questions, and additional resources for each topic. After each lesson, students receive a full set of materials to support revision.
I’ve successfully tutored several Leaving Cert students in the past and aim to make each lesson engaging and productive. Lessons are available for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students, either online or in-person (South Kilkenny).
