About Matthew
I'm Matt a 3rd Year Biology student at the University of Cardiff. I chose biology as my random third choice of subject for A-level and just fell in love. Perhaps this was partly because of my teacher so I would love the opportunity to make more people love the subject too. I'm an active individual and enjoy hiking, cycling and running but I also love video games and movies. I'm very friendly can pretty much get on with anyone. I know how it feels to be completely stuck on a biological concept so understand how students need help with certain topics and quickly understand others.

My Lessons will involve supplementing information with models to fully understand biological processes. I found that when I studied biology at A-level activities like using moulding clay or LEGO to make models was a fun way for students to engage with the information. Biology has a lot of long and complex terms so I find it important to dissect them to fully understand their meaning. Once you can do this the words don't seem as intimidating. I found biology to be so fascinating the world around us is so complex and Humans have figured out how it works, I am to show my students how amazing the world is!
