About Lara
I hope to become a researcher and simultaneous professor of Neuroscience. I have a particular interest in computational neuroscience, neuroplasticity, learning and memory as well as philosophy of mind. Therefore, tutoring is something very fundamental to me. Not only to help my students but as a form of training for myself to reach my own goals.

I am studying in my 2nd year of MSci Neuroscience and have been tutoring Triple Science for a year now. I take a proactive approach to tutoring, so on top of assuring my tutee understand the topic they are able to capture it (via flashcards and mindmaps), which I help them to modify over time.
I wish to use my reading of the neural mechanisms of learning and memory and familiarity with academic learning coaches to help students fine-tune and optimise their own learning, procedurally.
