About Zoe
I am an 18 year old university student, I have progressed through the education system and understand the occasional need for some extra help to deal with its complexities. I am extremely passionate about the subjects I aim to tutor and hope I can encourage fellow passionate students desire to learn, or help students who possibly don't enjoy the subject as much to find a greater affiliation and understanding. I wish to go into teaching later on in life as I know the benefits of having a good teacher, can have on your education and would like to pass this onto future learners.

The typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour, this provides the most suitable time frame for concentration. My lessons are aimed at anyone doing KS3 science or geography, GCSE science (double or triple) or Geography and A-level biology and Geography. I would work around the needs of the tutee, therefore if it is content they wish to focus on, I could provide ways to help understand and memorise this information. I may incorporate informal quizzes and short answer questions to check retention. I would also work on exam skill, by working through past exam material, tackling how to understand the question, and how to write an answer that meets what the mark scheme required. I have previously tutored 4 individual students in a combination of these subjects and worked for a private Maths and English tuition company for 2 years. I am DBS checked and have completed an online safeguarding training course. I obtained A's in A-level Biology and Geography, a B in A-level Chemistry, A's in triple science at GCSE.
