About Elle
Hi I'm Elle! I've always had a real love of storytelling in all its forms, from Literature to Film and Theatre, and I'm fascinated by how fiction can help us better understand the real world. I also love Creative Writing and using language as a way of expressing myself. I'm excited to start tutoring so I can pass on my knowledge of Literature and help others who are looking to learn more about the art of storytelling.
I studied BA English and Comparative Literature at the University of Leeds (2016-2019) and graduated with 1st Class honours. Since then I have been studying an MA in Journalism at the University of Sheffield (2019-2021). As a student I have studied a huge breadth of literature, poetry and drama from across the World and throughout history. I've also taken modules in focusing on different styles of Writing including Creative Writing, Travel Writing, News Writing and Feature Writing.

I teach online and I have experience offering tuition to primary school students up to University undergraduates. I adapt my teaching style to each student to focus on their specific needs and goals, but I always try and tailor my teaching to their interests and find ways of approaching the subject that will resonate with them.
