About Alice

I am a first class Biochemistry student at the University of Leeds with 4 years of tutoring experience.

Having achieved top grades (9 in GCSE and A* in A-Level Chemistry), I understand the challenges of studying science and I focus on tailoring lessons to your unique needs.

My patient and supportive teaching style ensures you can learn at your own pace, ask questions freely, and build confidence in both understanding concepts and mastering exam techniques.

About the lesson

The lessons are very much tailored to each student based on their strengths, weaknesses and goals.

In general, we will spend each lesson going through a topic that you have found difficult in class, or that you want to go over in more detail to revise it. Lessons generally consist of a mix of interactively walking through the content to ensure you understand the theory, and going through exam questions together to put your knowledge into practise.

Alice is the best I have always been so bad at science and I thought it was boring but she makes me interested, she even told me about her work on telomeres and ageing - I didn't realise science could be so cool. Very motivating and better than any school teacher I ever had ! :)
