About Heartson
I started learning Dizi in China since fourth grade for 3 years and have been making cover videos on YouTube for the past 3 years. I mainly play dizi but self-taught some Xiao and Hulusi. The only teaching experience I have was helping classmates to learn dizi in elementary school. Although I am in no way an advanced player, I am happy to help out new Chinese woodwind instrument enthusiasts to getting started on their journey!

My teaching approach tailors to the needs of the student. For students who are already learning on their own, I can offer advice, answer questions, and make corrections. For new beginners, we will start ground up from the making a sound, playing notes, all the way to playing basic practice songs.
